Historic Mid-Century Modern - Fully Renovated
My clients fell in love with the bones of this ‘1966 diamond in the ruff’, not really anticipating they would undergo an extensive project and full renovation in Sandy Springs. Having called a luxury Buckhead high-rise home for 17 years, they were excited about having their own outdoor space for entertaining at the pool with family and friends. This is to be their last and forever home.
They are avid art collectors with an impeccable eye for antique furniture and accessories. My job as interior designer was to coordinate a cohesive and pleasing backdrop, one that showcases their collections and compliments the new modern floor plan, which flows seamlessly to the outside spaces. Most of their existing furnishings were appointed quite easily into the house from their condo.
The envelope I designed of fixtures, finishes, and colors is cohesive and works with the intrinsic beauty of the original architecture creating a distinctive home.
